Cule, 26, was born and raised in Budva. He vaguely recalls that in elementary school his musical taste varied from domestic rock to the bands which in a short period of time became the iconography of the 90?s such as The Prodigy and Underworld. That gap can be filled with names in whose production Cule found quality and satisfaction: Chemical Brothers, Crystal Method and Leftfield.
With acquiring his first amateur DJ equipment, he started taking a significant role in musical currents, in urge to satisfy his own need as well as present his favorite sound to the people around him. Amateur equipment wasn?t a barrier and didn?t limit him in using his potential, because, as he says: ?There isn?t such thing as bad equipment, but only insufficiently inspired Djs.?
FFWD ? He starts buying records from labels such as Junior, NRK, Hooj Choons, Yoshitoshi, Soma, which featured artists like Peace Division, Pete Heller, Kenny Hawkes, 16 B, Silicone Soul, Slam? Musical selection which he shared in various forms in places like RAJ, RABBIT, XOPOIIIO he carries to Podgorica (PG), where he moved in 2003.
As a student he continues his work, trying to introduce electronic music to an audience not very familiar with this kind of sound. Naturally, he gets introduced to the whole crew behind Beat At Joe?s project. With them, as a friend and a colleague, he shares decks as well as the audience. Cule?s work is not characterized by only one genre, however his place in the crew echoes mainly with electro-tech sound. Since then, everything revolves and functions around the conditions by which PG?s audience exists.
As a part of that audience himself, he believes that the corner stones of the generation who supports electronic formats have been set, and that PG finally has a critical mass in which he will always gladly appear as a consumer as well as a promoter of such culture.
